Good Afternoon Rattler Nation,
We had so much fun this week shooting our Lip Dub. The final product is going to be amazing and we want to thank all the hard work the ASB put into not only making it but editing it. In addition, we would like to thank all the clubs and teams that came out over multiple days in order to shoot it. AP testing is this upcoming few weeks and we are rolling into the best time of the year--a celebration of our seniors and all they have accomplished.
Above is Mrs. Oberle 3rd period math class. They committed as a group to keep their cell phones away for a month and hold each other accountable. Math scores went up!!!! Now they have decided to try and do it again. We are so proud of them.
Lastly, CHHS has been cleared to let as many people as we want into our stadium for graduation.......we now do not need to provide tickets. Every senior now can have whomever they like. We hope this alleviate some stress of having to choose who comes.

This weekend (tonight and tomorrow) along with next weekend is our play "Next to Normal" tickets are cheap and we highly encourage everyone to come out and support the arts here at CHHS.
Graduation:
CHHS has anxiously been awaiting word on COVID protocol going into the busiest time of the year---senior events and activities. CHHS with its plan has been cleared to open up graduation without social distancing. This means that tickets will NOT be given to each child and instead we are able to accommodate as many as you would like to bring! This is great news for us but mostly I'm very happy for all of you! It's going to be quite the celebration. Here are some other details you need to know.
Where is graduation? It's at CHHS in the Stadium at 5 pm on June 11th, 2022.
How many tickets do I get/how many people can I bring? Now as many as you want!
Is there handicapped access? Yes there is at the top of the stadium. We do not sit handicapped anywhere else per law/code.
Can we bring pop-ups or umbrellas for the stands? Pop-ups no but umbrellas yes but please be mindful of the people behind you!!!!! This is also why the ceremony is at 5 pm.
Are there any "box seats" or VIP sections? YES! The CHHS Senior Boosters will be offering bidding at their auction on a VIP experience package. Here are the details and the auction is in May. It includes parking! In addition, we will be putting each senior into a lottery for one senior to win a VIP package free. Stay tuned for Senior Booster auction details!

Many of you email me throughout the year providing feedback on events, issues or sports etc. However, many of those processes are complete for the year and can only be improved upon for the following year. We send out surveys and get less than 10 responses at a time. I receive way more than that in feedback and complaints. I want to be proactive and not reactive when addressing them and improving them.
I am begging you to fill this out so I know whats important to you so I and my team can better serve you and your families. This survey is looked at extensively and used to create and better the processes you experience at this school. I am here to serve your students and I want your input to do that. Here is the survey.

AP Calendar: AP students will receive their personalized AP calendar on Monday, April 25. AP Exams begin May 2 through May 13. Reminder, students must report with a picture ID at 7:30 am for morning AP Exams. There is also NO early release.
Please remind your students of the 7:30 am check-in for morning tests; 11:30 am check-in for afternoon tests.

This program is on hold as we are having difficulties getting students to sign up to come to tutoring, and we haven't had any drop-ins. We have willing tutors, but students are not taking advantage of this opportunity.
