Busy Week before Thanksgiving!

Hello Rattler Nation!

Its Fall! We are coming in the week before Thanksgiving. There is no school tomorrow for Veterans Day, and there is no school, and we want to thank all our servicemen and women who are serving and have served. As the daughter of a Veteran and coming from a long line of servicemen, I know the sacrifices that are made by the whole family.

Monday is a school day, and Friday is a minimum day on 11/18. A reminder will go out about the minimum day next week. Dismissal is at 1:30.

Spirit Week is this upcoming week and the days and themes are above. The end of the grading period for Progress Report 2 is Friday.

Senior Parents and Jostens:

There has been some confusion around caps and gowns:

  • Caps are being paid for by Senior Boosters

  • You pay for tassels and gowns

  • You can borrow the gown to be returned after graduation its free

  • You get to keep the cap regardless

Some of you have spoken to Administration about being charged for things. We met with Jostens, and they are on the same page. To fix your concerns, please do the really easy following:

If parents log into their Jostens account, then click on the three lines in the top left corner, there is an option to notify Jostens of a discrepancy. They expect there will be some.

Booster Clubs are created by each "Class Of" to raise funds to create unforgettable experiences for your students. Items include caps for graduation, prom ticket prices lowered, organizing Grad Night, and having fundraisers to pull this off. They work very hard and need your support. Please go to your student's "Class Of" website and join the registry to stay up to date on all things going on with your student's graduating class.
