Message from SHS ASB:
December 14-18, there will be a holiday spirit week. The days are as following:
Monday is Holiday Hat and Sock Day;
Tuesday is Holiday Colors Day so wear any red, green, blue, or white;
Wednesday is Santa Scares so share your favorite holiday picture especially if you did not have a good run with Santa that year;
Thursday is Holiday Decor Day which would be sharing a picture of a holiday decoration inside or outside of your house, but be mindful and don’t accidentally share your address; and Friday is Ugly Sweater Day. The pictures can be posted on your instagram story tagging @serraasb or DM’d to @serraasb, as class point will be awarded for each day you participate. Happy Holidays from ASB!!!

Hi Serra High School students of ACTIVE DUTY Military parents. This is a reminder if you have not yet picked up your TI83 PLUS calculator, here's your chance. Our MFLC will at Serra High School Wednesday, December 9 from 1-3PM. Please take advantage of this opportunity from the DoDEA grant "Operation Aim High." FAFSA support for senior students:
Cal-Soap (https://www.calsoapsandiego.org/) is an organization we partner with each year to support students with college applications and completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
This year they will be providing their services by meeting with Class of 2021 students individually over zoom to assist them with completing their FAFSA. If you would like your student to meet with a Cal-Soap rep to complete their FAFSA please submit Cal-Soaps application here: https://ucsd.mylacai.com/apply.php

Hello Class of 2022,
Here are some promising news regarding PSAT. Our District has committed to order an exam for all Class of 2022 students, in hopes that we will be able to host the exam on January 26 and allow our students to have an opportunity for the NMSQT Scholarship. If we are still closed by the exam date, all tests will be returned and students will still have an alternate opportunity for the NMSQT Scholarship. In order to plan effectively, we are asking ALL of our Class of 2022 students to take this survey and let us know if they are interested in taking the exam. If students don’t respond to the survey, it may be difficult to have space for them to test. We have attached a letter from the district office addressing more detailed information for your convenience.
