Sports and Seniors!

Happy Sunday Serra High!

The photo above was taken on Friday. We want to recognize Girls Lacrosse. It was an amazing game vs Point Loma and then I went right over to basketball where the boys gave it their all. It was an amazing opportunity to be able to watch them. Please note that since we are at every single game for at least a section of time that we are noticing things that we need to note. As parents and students you represent SHS; with that we need to make sure you understand what that means.

  1. No noise makers or signs are allowed per CIF. Please remind your children.

  2. No pets are allowed on campus

  3. You are not allowed to start yelling and screaming about calls the refs make

  4. You are not allowed to heckle students and parents from opposing teams

  5. Coaches are NOT allowed to demean your children--if you have concerns please email Jonn Pisapia at

The rule of thumb is : all things positive. Let the players play, the refs ref, the coaches coach and the spectators be positive!

Thank you for your support!

Survey: Serra High Needs Your Help! in conjunction with Walden University

Serra high heard of a survey Walden University is conducting to do a research study on the impact of COVID-19 on working parents. I do believe that many of us fall into the category of "working parents" and I am hoping you'll take 15 minutes to complete my survey. Please share widely with Serra colleagues and beyond!

Impact of COVID 19 on Working Parents <> Please check your boosters/Class of's at the bottom as many things are going on that you can participate in that also helps the school!

Vaccines: soon.

Serra recognizes that the CDC has changes the parameters about who can receive the vaccine. SHS recognizes this and has asked for another vaccine date. The date will be coming.

Students have access to look at their course requests in PowerSchool right now for the Fall! Please have your child go to their student email where there is a form they can fill out to make changes. Do not email counselors---fill out the form please. In addition, with all this lead time for your child's schedule there will be no changes in the Fall. Please also encourage them to check their student email regularly.
