Teacher Appreciation Week, Senior Checklist

Good Afternoon Rattler Nation,

This week we had a wonderful time celebrating our teachers and AP Texting went smooth. Teachers work so hard and their work doesn't go unnoticed. The week started with a gift as seen above; a grow kit and a VIP Service tag. Then Tuesday they got pizza for lunch, Wednesday was baklava and ice coffee, and Friday they had their VIP selections from above delivered. If you haven't already done so please reach out to at least one of our staff members and thank them. In the upcoming weeks we will be celebrating our Classified Staff and other staff on campus. It take a village and we are so glad to have such an amazing staff here at CHHS.

Seniors, here is a link to a checklist of tasks between now until the end of the year: NOTE:IF YOU ARE WANTING TO BE RECOGNIZED AT SENIOR AWARDS YOU MUST DO WHATS ON THE LINK.

Congratulations to our Boy's Tennis Team for winning the CIF Championship last weekend. We are so proud of them and so lucky to have such an amazing coach like YY here at the school.

CHHS has anxiously been awaiting word on COVID protocol going into the busiest time of the year---senior events and activities. CHHS with its plan has been cleared to open up graduation without social distancing. This means that tickets will NOT be given to each child and instead we are able to accommodate as many as you would like to bring! This is great news for us but mostly I'm very happy for all of you! It's going to be quite the celebration. Here are some other details you need to know.

Where is graduation? It's at CHHS in the Stadium at 5 pm on June 11th, 2022.

How many tickets do I get/how many people can I bring? Now as many as you want!

Is there handicapped access? Yes there is at the top of the stadium. We do not sit handicapped anywhere else per law/code.

Can we bring pop-ups or umbrellas for the stands? Pop-ups no but umbrellas yes but please be mindful of the people behind you!!!!! This is also why the ceremony is at 5 pm.

Are there any "box seats" or VIP sections? YES! The CHHS Senior Boosters will be offering bidding at their auction on a VIP experience package. Here are the details and the auction is in May. It includes parking! In addition, we will be putting each senior into a lottery for one senior to win a VIP package free.

Do you have a Senior? Well, CHHS has a Booster Club so you can stay up to date on things and events about them:

The Canyon Hills/Serra Parent Class Boosters is a parent organization that supports your student's graduating class with activities and events not typically sponsored by the school. As your student approaches senior year, through fundraising and donations, this group helps offset the cost and implement activities like grad-night, prom, senior luncheon, graduation venue, powder-puff, and more.
