Week 3 in the books and Upcoming Events!

Hello Rattler Nation!

We had a great week. We roamed classrooms--above is a teacher having class outside on our new tables in the 1000 building!, we also had a Foundation meeting, and several of our athletic teams won this week. AP Exams are open for purchase and the information is below. We also started planning several upcoming events; Open House and Homecoming. Things are looking great and fun leading in October! Mark Your calendars for the following events:

Open House: October 6th, 2022, at 5:30 pm. We will have an in-person and virtual option. However, the format for in-person will be very different than it has been in the last seven years. We look forward to providing you with more details in the coming weeks.

Homecoming: October 14th, 2022: CHHS vs. Uc High at 7 pm. Come out and support!

Homecoming Dance: October 15th, 2022: The theme is DISCO! Very exciting!

Here is a picture of what it looks like to run a program: Coach Harris has high expectations for his students and understands that they are students first and athletes second. He has them in Study Hall to build up community and grades!

Next week is Parent Nights through our Counseling Dept.:

Parent Nights:

We have already calendared the Opening Parent Nights. Please mark your calendars, and it is also on the CHHS calendar.

9th & 10th grade parent night 9/20 @ 6:00 pm 11th & 12th grade parent night 9/21 @ 6:00pm

We are now doing an Athletic Weekly; this is created with the most accurate data we have at the time, and we understand things change last minute, so always check MaxPreps as well.

Welcome to CHHS!

Ms. Elizabeth Ward, Vice Principal, Class of 2025, and the CHHS Admin team and Staff.

Counselors are here to help you! Your students ask to see their counselor by going to the CHHS website and clicking on the "Counseling Tab"-then, they click on their counselor to fill out the form. Counselors will then call them to the office. The days when I was in high school, you went to the Counseling Office and waited around. This is much more streamlined today. However, in emergencies, you ABSOLUTELY can just come on in. Want to pop in and ask a question during the passing period...of course! Here's what the page looks like:
